Milestones

• Achieved GL Certification for an 80m tower design for a 2.5MW turbine in May 2009.
  
  
• Successfully completed and installed a 23M concept tower prototype in January of 2011, to prove out its design, manufacture, transportation and assembly processes.
  
  
• Received notice of issue for U.S. Letters Patent No. 8,136,329 B2 on March 20, 2012. Areas covered under the Patent include outside nut retention systems, manufacturing methods, transportation rigging, pre-assembly configuration, and certain details of the internals configuration.
  
  
• Ready-to-Build ‘green-field’ plant design with identified processes and equipment needed for quality low-cost manufacture and scalability not seen in the industry.
  
  
• Received notice on December 23, 2013 from the USPO that US Patent Application No. 13/406,731 had been allowed and the resulting patent should issue during the first half of 2014.
  
  
• Closed on regional technology license in March 2014 to a Brazilian manufacturer.
